Do you require a booking deposit, and what are your late/no-show terms?
We take a $30 deposit for online bookings. After the service, the $30 is deducted from the total, and the remaining balance is collected from you.
What if a nail chips or breaks within a few days—will you fix it?

Are your products non-toxic?
All the products we use are non-toxic. Nothing we apply to your nails penetrates your body and causes harm. We choose the highest-quality, certified products.

The safest method in a professional salon is to file off the top coat, then wrap with pads soaked in 100% acetone and gently push/clean; finish by smoothing the surface and re-moisturizing with cuticle oil. If removal must be done at home, follow the same steps patiently and gently—do not use an e-file drill.
Why do nails lift, and how can lifting be prevented?
Environmental factors such as moisture, chemicals, and extreme heat/cold or client carelessness can cause lifting. No matter how perfect the service is, taking good care of your nails is your responsibility.
What at-home care extends wear and prevents breaks?

If there are signs such as redness, swelling, pus, fungus, or open wounds, we do not provide the service. We recommend getting treatment first and booking after you have healed.
Is acetone safe during removal, and do you soak?
Salon removal typically uses wraps with pads soaked in acetone, a short wait, and gentle pushing—controlled application is preferred over prolonged direct soaking. For those with odor sensitivity during pregnancy, non-acetone options or minimal acetone exposure are recommended; good ventilation and brief exposure are key.
Do you accept tips, and what’s standard in the U.S.?
In the U.S., a common tipping range for salon services is about 15–20% of the total; for labor-intensive nail art, 20–25% is preferred. We accept cash, Zelle, or terminal tips; tips go only to the technician. The shop owner does not take a share.
What is your deposit, cancellation, and no-show policy?
Deposit-based cancellation policies secure your appointment with a prepayment, and in late-cancellation/no-show situations the full fee is charged to your card per the agreement; this prevents schedule losses. These terms are clearly stated in the agreement you accept when paying through Setmore.
Builder gel vs. rubber base—what’s the difference and who is each for?
Builder gel has a thicker, harder structure that provides length and high structural durability; it is less flexible. Rubber base is thinner and more flexible, moving with the natural nail and helping reduce lifting on soft/bendy nails. We advise you based on your nail condition and the manicure you want.
Do you cut cuticles? Is it safe?
To make manicures and pedicures healthier and more flawless, we perform this step very carefully. We carry it out in a way that does not create a health risk.
How do you sterilize tools—do you use an autoclave?
All single-use materials we use are discarded after the service. We sterilize nail clippers and e-file bits for 30 minutes at 240°C after each client to ensure that 100% of harmful microbes or other contaminants are eliminated. We never use the same tools on a new client without sterilization.
Can I get pedicures during pregnancy—any precautions?
Pedicures are generally considered safe with proper ventilation, sensitivity to odors, and adherence to hygiene rules. It is entirely up to the client’s preference.
Do you charge per-nail for art, or as a full set?
In the industry, simple accents are usually priced per nail, while full-set art or advanced designs are calculated as a total. Prices vary by design complexity, materials, and time; we provide a clear quote with reference photos before the appointment.
Gel polish over natural nails vs. extensions—what should clients choose?
If you want a shiny, natural look with low maintenance, gel polish offers 2–3 weeks of shine and durability. If you want length, symmetry, and shape transformation, gel extensions or Gel-X are more suitable; they provide structural strength and shape control.
Do you offer a repair warranty?
We offer a 7-day warranty policy only. After 7 days, repairs are performed for a fee.
What is your lateness policy and grace period?
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your reservation will be canceled. The full fee will be charged to your credit card due to the agreement you signed on our website. If you cannot make your appointment, you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the full fee will be charged to your card.
Do you offer HEMA-free gels for clients with sensitivities?
HEMA is a monomer associated with sensitivity/allergy in gel systems; HEMA-free formulas can help reduce the risk of reactions. Patch testing for suspected allergies (e.g., 2-HEMA, HPMA, EGDMA) provides high diagnostic sensitivity and guides safe product selection. We recommend calling us about this before making an online booking.
Will hot tubs, saunas, or pools affect my nails?
Heat and humidity—especially in the first 24 hours—can increase the risk of early dulling or chipping in gel polish; briefly avoid hot water and chemicals. For longevity, rinse with fresh water after sauna/pool and apply cuticle oil.
Do hands and feet wear differently—why does gel last longer on toes?
Toenails grow more slowly and face less daily trauma; therefore gel pedicures usually stay glossy longer than manicures. Still, shoe friction and sports can affect longevity; regular, maintenance is recommended.
How will I receive confirmations and reminders?
When you book online with us, you will receive both an email and a text message. For appointments made by phone, you will receive a text message only after your appointment is confirmed.
